Mario`s Pizza in Nortd Reading

The food is amazing, the new owners are so friendly and the wine selection is great. What else can you ask for! I highly recommend the chicken parm sub, or any of the pasta dishes and pizza selections. You cannot go wrong with anything.

We set down for dinner great food excellent service, pizza was to die for ,we finished dinner with tiramisu witch was one of the best i ever had ,we definitely go back agin kids loved it!!!

ordered a kabob salad to go and it was cool that they let me substitute steak tips for chicken at no additional cost... very affordable prices. i also like that there’s no silly iceberg, as they only use romaine. salad was fresh, and the steak tips were tender, and pretty tasty. i will say that the portion is too small for an adult male with a healthy appetite. not enough steak(needs a minimum of 3 more ounces), definitely not enough dressing(those cups should at least be double the size), not enough everything really, and the piece of bread they give is extremely small.i would definitely like this again for lunch, but it’s not enough for a dinner. all employees i encountered were very pleasant.

I've been eating at Mario's for years. I recently had an issue with my t as takeout meal. I called and talked with Kyle. He was very gracious and offered me a free meal next time I ordered. I took him up on the offer and they did not hesitate in nake good on their word. Food is always great and staff wonderful.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The seafood plates( scallops, mussels, and frutti de la mer) were very delicious. In General , a great service And tasty food under the new owners.

Best pizza we've had in years.

My daughter and I went there lastnight for the first time and it was delicious! Great potions and quality food and great price. Ashley, our server was wonderful and everyone there so welcoming. Great pizza and service. I accidently hit the stand my pizza was on with my elbow sending the pizza to the floor. They were there immediately, assuring me that everything was OK and replaced my pizza. Extremely friendly people. I will definitely go there again and highly recommend them to others.

We just moved here and Italian back home was either a lot of pizza joints, especially the American chains, or Olive Garden. Good but not authentic. We came here one night when we trying to find a place to live before moving and loved it. Since moving, I can't count how many times we've been back, either to dine in or takeout/delivery. That's how terrific the food is. And the staff is very sweet as well. They remember us and they've made us feel at home every time. Our favorites right now are the Steak Bomb pizza and the Chicken Parmesan. If you love Italian, you need to come to Mario's!

It's under new ownership. I met one of the guys and he was nice and funny, as is the staff. This is honestly my go-to place for pizza in North Reading, and when im not in town other pizza doesn't compare. If you didnt like it before, give it a shot again cause its under new management (not that i had an issue with previous management). Really good pizza.

Mario's has the best Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pizza. The good news is that even after their change in management, at the beginning of this year, they still are on top! Oh and the cannoli are to die for and are always made to order.

This place has the best steak and cheese I've ever had. Always tastes fresh, and cooked well with good portions of ingredients.

I just want to start off saying the food here is good and didnt disappoint at all. I enjoyed my salad very much and my mother and daughter enjoyed their food too! I also want to say the owner here is unbelievably friendly. He came up and offered a suggestion and also made sure we loved our food after he cooked it up for us! We really had a great experience because of him. It has a nice atmosphere, a little romantic which would be nice for couples too.

Marios is back....My wife and I used to love this place but we felt it had lost something over the last few times we were there. I am happy to say that we went there this week and it was just like the old days, food was just as good if not better than I remembered. We also took a pizza to go and I would put this pizza with any in the area, including Boston. Give Marios a try, you will not be disappointed.

Mario's has excellent fresh authentic Italian cuisine. The eggplant rolotini is spectacular.

I came here for dinner last night with a big group of friends, the food was delicious, tried a bunch of appetizers all were excellent. Chicken parm dinner was 100/100 highly recommend. 🙏

The only thing better than Mario’s food is the staff. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name and your order. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food. As an Italian, I never order Italian food out. This food tastes like your mom made it. I order it all the time for myself and even cater events. I highly reccomend this to anyone looking to support a great local business and amazing home style meals.

I ordered the chicken broccoli w/ fusilli. I had to fish thru to find the chicken which was only six small cut up pieces. Food was good, but for the chicken portion, it was not worth even close to the $17.50 I paid. Next I had to try a slice of pizza. $3.50 for a 1/8 specialty slice. Again extremely overpriced for slightly above average food.

The food is great. Portions are very generous. They make excellent salads too. Eggplant rollatini app is my favorite. Only only gripe is delivery. The driver is a grouch!!On two occasions he was just rude.

My parents and my brothers always bragged about the great home made Italian food at Mario’s and decided to go with them and try it. Mario’s, how did I not come here earlier!! Ohh my god! Hands down the best home made frutte de mare I’ve ever had! We shared Arancini that were very cheesy and fresh, and the eggplant rolatini (seriously i couldn’t stop eating them) the fresh rolls right out of the oven with olive oil to dip it in.I am Italian and love Italian food. Mario’s thank you and thank you! You are now my favorite Italian restaurant. I don’t have to drive to the north end anymore and not to mention the prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent.

Picked up food from Mario’s last week and still can’t stop thinking about how good it was. I ordered the chicken Marsala which was amazing with the fusilli fresh pasta. The eggplant parm Cesar salad and some cannolis. They were all amazing and the staff there was so friendly. I highly recommend Mario’s for anyone who wants high quality food at a reasonable price.

I came into Mario’s Ristorante looking for a steak and cheese sub. Absolute best steak bomb sub! Took me back to my childhood, so good! Portions were fantastic and everything was cooked perfectly. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, not only for the amazing food but the wonderful staff! They are SUPER friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back! It was worth the drive!P.S. I also ordered a small Chicken Broccoli Alfredo Pizza and that was unbelievable too.

We had dinner here last months with the entire family. My daughter loves the dinner rolls, I loves the calamaris. The pasta was awesome delicious. For sure we will come back 😉

WOW!!! This place is amazing!!! Our waitress could not have been more pleasant. The food was fantastic from apps to desert. The atmosphere was great , you could talk to people at your table without yelling. The owner even came out and thanked us for coming. Definitely going to become a regular.

Came here for the first time with my mother the other day and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! She ordered the muscles (which were so fresh) and I got the chicken Parmesan. The portions were the perfect size for a great price. A small restaurant with extremely friendly staff that I would highly recommend. Definitely will be back.

Decided to stop here for lunch after reading some of the great reviews that Google reviewers described this spot as an Italian mom and pop style food establishment. The location is in a shopping center and the ambiance is cozy with a large TV on ESPN. It has enough room to fit around 25-30 customers comfortably. It's a walk in order and sit style which I'm very familiar with in the big cities like NY and Boston. The pizza had great reviews but I decided to try the Italian wedding soup and my wife the chicken tortellini soup. We also ordered the chicken piccata to share. The soup was good-not too salty. The Italian wedding soup was exactly what I expected it to taste like and the chicken soup was served with generous chicken breast, carrots, onions and celery. The chicken piccata was flavorful and the pasta was cooked to normal texture which is not too mushy. Overall I liked this place and will come back to try the gourmet pizza and ribs. This Italian American approves. Enjoy!

Good food. Wish it was open 7 days a week especially Sunday. They do get orders wrong occasionally but they do the right thing. Its worth going to especially for take out. The atmosphere inside is ok.
